I have this compulsory feeling that I can’t let anything go to waste. Now, I am not as conscious as I’d like to be on the consumer side but on the waste side I have this deep felt need to re-use and recycle.
I had a compost pile a few years ago, and that was a perfect way to significantly reduce waste. Now that I don’t, I try to “feed” my plants organic food waste and reuse as much as I can for additional cooking.
This recipe page is just a small sampling of ways that I’ve found to re-use and reduce my food waste. I hope to add to this page in the future with additional recipe ideas.
